How do we make stories like these possible?

The Oracle Cloud offers a complete suite of integrated applications for Sales, Service, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, plus Highly Automated and Secure Generation 2 Infrastructure featuring the Oracle Autonomous Database. It's a bit of a complicated concept so let's use an analogy that we can all understand - pizza.

If your pizza is your data, then the oven is your Cloud Infrastructure. It's a physical location where your data is stored. It's what makes the whole process work! For us, these storage locations are called data centers. Hundreds of these data centers around the world store the computing power for Oracle Cloud, securing and analyzing data for 430,000 customers.

Your pizza toppings are Cloud Applications. There are different toppings for different people – your roommate might prefer sausage on his pizza, while you prefer pepperoni. Like toppings, our applications are used by different people to match their unique needs and business roles -- it's simple really. For example, our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications run everything to do with company resources, like finances, procurement, and budgeting. And our Human Capital Management (HCM) applications run a business’ HR functions, like recruiting, hiring, and compensation.
